Product Description
The Control SB-2 provides low frequency reinforcement in subwoofer satellite systems. The Control SB-2 is ideal for foreground music and musicpaging systems in restaurants, retail establishments, theme bars, music cafes, health clubs, and other indoor applications. The unique slot-load vented design provides acoustic low-pass filtering. Compared to traditional bandpass subwoofers, the SB-2 offers superior musical clarity and bass impact. The satellite outputs are highpass filtered, reducing overall system distortion by eliminating the need for the satellite speakers to reproduce frequencies in the low bass range. The satellites operate more efficiently, maintaining excellent midrange clarity and realism in music and paging. The high-pass filtering also allows a greater number of satellite speakers to be paralleled in the system by increasing the impedance the amplifier sees in the subwoofer range. The stereo inputs are 8 ohms each. The combination of the satellite high-pass filtering, the acoustic slotload filtering and a built-in 2nd order low-pass crossover network results in smoother overall system frequency response and virtually eliminates the muddiness typical of other subwoofersatellite systems by reducing frequency overlap in the low midrange.- PRICED AND SOLD AS A PAIR

The Micca M-Series of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers have been designed for optimal performance in a wide variety of home entertainment applications, from providing relaxed background music, to a high impact 7-channel home theater system.
Dynamic and Balanced
The M-8C is a 2-way in-ceiling/in-wall speaker with a high excursion 8″ poly woofer and a 1″ soft dome tweeter in co-axial arrangement. This combination provides the utmost flexibility in terms of configuration and suitability to different types of audio tastes. In addition to smooth and natural vocals, the 8″ woofer is capable of robust bass output, allowing the M-8C to be used without the need for a subwoofer in many applications. When a subwoofer is present, the bass capabilities of the M-8C ensure seamless integration at frequencies that smaller woofers simply can’t reach.

Imaging and Clarity
The 1″ soft dome tweeter provides abundant detail and clarity, generating solid and focused imaging for all sound sources in a spacious sound stage. Designed for a broadened listening sweet spot, the tweeter employs a diffuser to assist off-axis response as well as a pivoting mechanism to achieve proper aiming. Perfect integration between the tweeter and woofer is achieved through a 12dB crossover network with a compensation network. Once installed and setup, these speakers “disappear” and melt into a realistic sound stage – as it was meant to be.

The Control 24CT MicroPlus is a compact in-ceiling speaker, providing full, high quality sound for background music and music-plus-paging systems. These speakers are ideally suited for a wide variety of applications, from restaurants and specialty retail stores to professional offices and airports. Low distortion, a smooth, natural frequency response, and a 25 Watt transformer make the Control 24CT MicroPlus ideal for medium volume business music. Low frequency output can be augmented with the addition of one of the Control Contractor subwoofer models. Similar midhigh frequency voicing to other JBL Control Contractor loudspeakers allows mixing and matching of models within zones without requiring separate equalization. Installation of the Control 24CT MicroPlus is quick and easy. The loudspeaker is packaged with the backcan, grille, support backing bracket and tile rails. In addition, optional new construction brackets are available. The entire installation can be accomplished without requiring access above the ceiling. The Control 24CT MicroPlus backcan is made of formed steel and the speaker is suitable for use in air handling spaces per UL2043. An attachment loop is provided on the backcan for cabling.
