I was accustomed to the speaker of the stock for the moment, but, when I heard first hand connected to a 400 watt amp 4 channel , I was amazed at the clarity, loudness, and the warm, bright sound. I can not wait to match the mids / highs with 12 “Type-R sub (s). You are definitely lacking bass after listening to those without a sub / amp combo, since the crossovers deprived of bass notes, although there is “punchy mid-bass.”

A producer gave me a file he moved from his Sony HD Cam on my hard drive using Final Cut Pro. No other software can open these files, not even AVS4YOU. I compared it with Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 16, Pinnacle 14, Corel Videostudio Pro X2/X3, and Cyberlink Power Director 8 and it comes down to one major factor. Vegas actually runs without crashing. I own Videostudio Pro X2, reformatted my PC to start fresh and tried to reinstall VS Pro X2, as I have done a couple times before, and this time it will not install. I call tech support, who graciously tried to help without charging me - they even called me back to see if their ideas worked - which, unfortunately, it is not. Download VS Pro X3 as I could upgrade for a lower price than buying new. It worked fine for a one day but then started crashing non-stop to the point where I could use it without crashing. I tried <br/> Power Director 8 for some reason have a really good interface (not in all respects though - there are too many options that the graphics tab and the tabs are not make it clear what they're for so you have to go through then to see what they're for). However, it started getting choppy and the program also began to crash. <br/> I then decided to give Sony Vegas a try. I had tried them before purchasing VS Pro X2 but it is not intuitive software VS Pro X2 and it seems the better choice. Right now, I have experienced good performance - the best-in fact, from the Vegas Movie Studio HD. I spent some time on the phone asking questions, watched their profitable Show Me How tutorials and read the Help files in the program. I now like it the best. This is a very powerful program, on the surface, may seem complicated, but after you spend a little time on it, it becomes more intelligent than some others I tried. <br/> Not ready to just buy a 3rd program I tried, I tried after Magix Movie Edit, which worked decently in the software. However, this video seems to have created unstable where none of the others were, when I was able to make a video before they started crashing. I also tried Pinnacle 14, all 1.9 GB of it is downloaded. I found it, surprisingly, not as smart, and somewhat sluggish, though stable - the small extent I used it. The import function is a pain in the Pinnacle. The explorer view available in Vegas is the best in my opinion. <br/> Summary: Corel Videostudio Pro <br/> X3: <br/> - older versions, Pro X2, stopped working for me and will not reinstall <br/> - Pro X3, while decent interface, I can not do anything with it, then I made a video. It now crashes before I can do anything Cyberlink PowerDirector <br/> 8: <br/> - crashes <br/> - choppy video while editing <br/> - Limited soundtracks included, you have to buy more if you want them. I have tried out Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum HD Production Suite 10 and decided to buy it. I compared it with Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 16, Pinnacle 14, Corel Videostudio Pro X2/X3, and Cyberlink Power Director 8 and it comes down to one major factor. Vegas actually runs without crashing. I own Videostudio Pro X2, reformatted my PC to start fresh and tried to reinstall VS Pro X2, as I have done a couple times before, and this time it will not install. I call tech support, who graciously tried to help without charging me – they even called me back to see if their ideas worked – which, unfortunately, it is not. Download VS Pro X3 as I could upgrade for a lower price than buying new. It worked fine for a one day but then started crashing non-stop to the point where I could use it without crashing.
I tried
Power Director 8 for some reason have a really good interface (not in all respects though – there are too many options that the graphics tab and the tabs are not make it clear what they’re for so you have to go through then to see what they’re for). However, it started getting choppy and the program also began to crash.

I then decided to give Sony Vegas a try. I had tried them before purchasing VS Pro X2 but it is not intuitive software VS Pro X2 and it seems the better choice. Right now, I have experienced good performance – the best-in fact, from the Vegas Movie Studio HD. I spent some time on the phone asking questions, watched their profitable Show Me How tutorials and read the Help files in the program. I now like it the best. This is a very powerful program, on the surface, may seem complicated, but after you spend a little time on it, it becomes more intelligent than some others I tried.

Not ready to just buy a 3rd program I tried, I tried after Magix Movie Edit, which worked decently in the software. However, this video seems to have created unstable where none of the others were, when I was able to make a video before they started crashing. I also tried Pinnacle 14, all 1.9 GB of it is downloaded. I found it, surprisingly, not as smart, and somewhat sluggish, though stable – the small extent I used it. The import function is a pain in the Pinnacle. The explorer view available in Vegas is the best in my opinion.

Summary:
Corel Videostudio Pro
X3:

– older versions, Pro X2, stopped working for me and will not reinstall

– Pro X3, while decent interface, I can not do anything with it, then I made a video. It now crashes before I can do anything
Cyberlink PowerDirector
8:

– crashes

– choppy video while editing

– Limited soundtracks included, you have to buy more if you want them. Videostudio and Sony among many choices (although I was not able to test with Vegas as the trial did not include them – but there are supposed to be 400 full version software)

Magix Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus:

– Ok interface

– more stable than VS Pro X3 and PowerDirector 8, but the resulting video is choppy during playback, unacceptable for the final output
Pinnacle
14:

– great program, sluggish

– import feature is a pain

Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum HD Suite:

– right now, very stable

– very full featured, powerful software

– can be intimidating at first, use the Show me How tutorials, online tutorials, Quick Start Guide – download from their website, indoor Help – they quickly made me more comfortable with the program

– did I mention stable

– Includes DVD Architest and SoundForge Audio Studio Vocal Erase Plug-in – have not tried but might be very useful

My recommendation is Sony Vegas. The pre-sales help call I made was very useful. He actually took the time to help answer all my questions.

There is one BIG problem with Version 9 – it had bugs in the video rendering, which was never fixed with software updates. It appears that Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum HD 10 is fixed to the obvious encoding / rendering bugs that plagued version 9.

There is something that people should be aware of. High Definition Video Cameras appear to be advancing technologically faster than the everyday home computer can deal with. I am referring specifically to certain FILE size HD. HD Video made with Super High Quality setting selected on your camera, makes a very large file. If you try and work with files in the average computer, chances are going to experience problems and crashes.

I use an SD (Standard Definition) widescreen camera with max settings 9Mbps (720 x 480p) – I have not experienced any problems using Vegas.

I know many people on YouTube to upload HD video with 1280 x 720p OR 1080p 1440 X and use Vegas with no problems.

However, some people are reporting that working in the maximum size of HD video of 1920 x 1080p (17-24Mbps) will stop Sony Vegas works well. I’m curious to know if this problem also extends to other brands of software, and that the real problem has more to do with the lag in the ability of domestic computers at home? Anyone know?

It has two 10A fuses. This means that it will make maybe 200 watts (any others will blow the fuse). So at this rate a 1400 watt amp is flat out lying.

If you want a really cheap amp rated power, try Phoenix Gold, or Hifonics. They have amps in the same price range that actually turn out better power, not to overheat or explode, and it is a far better value.
